Apple has annouced today the coming of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in two weeks (September 19th is the release date). Along with that came the announcment of the Apple Watch, which has a planned release of early next year. Lets go over some of the key point in this year's iPhone announcment.
iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus
Introducing the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus! These are the latest additions to the ever growing iPhone family. They come with a stunning new Retina HD Display, iOS 8 and the new Apple Pay.
And, if you can imagine the iPhone becoming any thinner Apple has done it again (do not think about putting these phones in your back pocket!)
These are the thinnest iPhones ever made.
While the display is not made of saphire, like many speculated, it comes with a new feature exclusive to the iPhone 6 called Retina HD display. The new display is also, as you can see, bigger.
The iPhone 6 boasts a 4.7" display which is nearly 20% bigger than the iPhone 5S screen. This screen carries a resolution of 1334 by 750 with 326 pixels per inch, which pushes past 720 thanks to the Retina HD Display. However the iPhone 6 Plus with its astounding 5.5" screen can do full 1080p with it's 1920 by 1080 resolution display.
Other feautres included the new camera advancments (a selfie helper feature called Burst Shot), a newer, faster processor and extended battery life.
However the most stunning feature of the phone was the price!
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available for preorder September 12th and will be avaiable for purchase on September 19th.
